Dynamic Light gives you the best and most vibrant HDR-like look on any mobile platform. And this is all accomplished from just a single image using only a single dial. Rotate the dial to the right and you get the very same HDR look you had admired on many photographic sites.

What others say:

"In one word, "WOW". This is a quick, simple app, with stunning effects that has just set a new standard in single photo HDR apps, and all for a bargain price." iPhoneography.com review.

"If you like to experiment with your photos and create totally unique looks, then Dynamic Light is definitely a HDR app you should check out for some crazy results." AppAdvice.com review.

"Dynamic Light does an excellent job of expanding the dynamic color range and luminosity of iPhone photos, giving them the qualities of a bracketed HDR image without the alignment problems of some HDR apps or the flat, lifeless look of most “pseudo-HDR” apps" lifeinlofi.com review

Dont let the virtual simplicity of our app fool you. Inside is a highly optimized full-blown proprietary processing taken directly from our DPHDR desktop application.

Unlike other apps that look complex outside while cutting you short on the actual processing we designed Dynamic Light the other way around to really show you that the shiny new iPhone and iPod touch can actually crunch the same data a desktop computer can.

You can use the build-in camera or load image from the album. For our testing we even downloaded images from our professional DSLR camera and the iPone chewed through it in nearly the same time like on our desktop. That says a lot about our code optimization and the wizards in Cupertino who designed the hardware.

As a special treat we also included few not-so typical effects that are a good match for the HDR look like Orton, Sepia, Vignette, Mysterious Light etc.
There are also two special designed effect Comic and Manga. You have to really save the images with those effects and look at them in Photos or on your computer in bigger size.

The new second page of effects has now few HDR specific effects that are very sensitive to the strength dial and produce anything from just a hint of tone-mapping to totally overblown HDR effect.
Those effects (like the little understood Ultra Contrast from previous version) are build with enough headroom for punchy images and are not really mean to be used with the dial all the way to the ceiling (this is probably what many people did in previous version with Ultra Contrast and disliking the overblown result).

Some tips: The HDR look works best on landscape and outdoor pictures especially with cloudy skies and lot of textures. This also minimizes the camera noise. Large flat surfaces without a texture are not a good match for this effect, nor are portrait photos, unless you are after particular effect.
We hope you will have fun with this app and take some amazing shots.

This of course is build for the Retina display, we wouldnt want it any other way. (some people asked).
We are committed to make this the best pseudo HDR app.

We have make the Dynamic Light for desktop as well. Check it in app store.

Pros and cons of Dynamic Light app for iPhone and iPad

Dynamic Light app good for

Hey! Great App. Please provide more custom settings for an individual HDR effect! 5 *
You can create some very cool photo effects with this app. One of my faves (and Ive tried a LOT of photography apps.)
This app is truly amazing. The effects are phenomenal, the speed is excellent (even on my old 3G). This is what other app developers should strive for. They just released it and it has zero flaws. The results you will get will blow your mind. I am truly impressed. This app is easily worth 10x its price and at $0.99 it is truly a steal. Trust me you wont be disappointed. Two enthusiastic thumbs up to the developer.
This a great app which I find simple to use only wish I could process video with it. It make all my photos look great! Thanks I love this app.
Really great app. It gives that mysterious and special feel to photographs. Easy to use and very quick to process. Recommended for 99 cents.
This app does what it claims. Impressive results, although a little bit grainy looking, but hey, we are talking about mimicking HDR on a phone here, so Im not complaining. This has 5 star potential written all over it. A couple things Id like to see in a future update: - Add a full screen toggle for previewing images - Zoom - Add option to drag finger across image to change effect amount (this would work well with the full screen view) - Add a help screen or glossary of the controls for us HDR noobs

Some bad moments

I really thought this program is just like every other photo editing app. I prefer adobe photoshop express over this, but adobe is free and has a lot more to offer. A couple of the effects are cool, but thats all this app has going for it.
To use the developers term, despite the update, the camera still "returns blank images." In plain English, the camera half of the app doesnt function. You can upload pics from the camera roll and the stuff you can do is cool, but until he/she re-fixes the memory problem and actually fixes the camera problem, give it a miss.
Look, this isnt a bad App, but if youre expecting to get results that look anything like the demo photos shown here, think again... This is an effects app, not an HDR app. If you want great HDR imagery, try TrueHDR. Its substantially better than the native iPhone HDR setting.
I love this app!! It works great with sky pics especially. Definitely worth the money, I use it and my photos get many "likes" :)
The fancy look in the promo photos is a load of crap. All I found you could do is add a filter (which greatly decreased the photos quality) and adjust exposure/saturation. THATS IT. Why this is 99¢, I dont know... I find it ironic that the people with 4/5 star reviews have a ton of complaints in their reviews...?
 If you cant get your photos to look like the demo pic, the problem is YOU and not the app! This is one of the best apps to edit your photos with. Check out my Instagram @family1st
